EATS and Saddle of Love Mindfulness Camp

An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until April 14, 2022
We are so excited to offer this amazing spring break camp in partnership with Saddle of Love. During this camp, students of all ages will learn how to practice mindfulness through cooking, eating, meditation, and caring for animals.
Animals at the camp will be horses, ducks, chickens, cats, and a rabbit. All animals are therapy animals and will all be interacted with, fed, and groomed by the kids every day during the camp along with other fun outdoor farm activities!
- Monday Intro to Mindful Eating: What is mindful eating and how can we practice it?
- Tuesday Mindful Eating at the Dinner Table: How can we use mindful eating to strengthen our relationship with those we eat around?
- Wednesday Mindful Snacking: How can we use mindful eating to choose snacks that will nourish and fuel our bodies?) make hummus and muhammara
- Thursday Mindful Preparation (How can we use mindfulness to strengthen our relationship with cooking?) make an exotic smoothie bowl, write our own recipe.
