Volunteer Spotlight: Taylor Briggs

University of Utah Health and Nutrition student, Taylor Briggs, has volunteered for EATS since learning of the mission in 2014. Taylor volunteers for EATS because she believes that “learning to eat healthy and trying different foods is so important for living a healthy life”. Taylor attends every taste test and cooking class that her schedule allows. She enjoys “getting kids excited to learn to cook healthy meals for themselves” and says “it’s a lot of fun!”

Beyond helping with EATS programs, Taylor has also promoted EATS at community events such as Hike for Hunger and the Food and Film weekend. Taylor’s passion and nutrition knowledge makes her an excellent spokesperson for the cause.

When not in school or volunteering for EATS, Taylor enjoys skiing, hiking and knitting. We are so pleased to have volunteers like Taylor on our team!
