New Year, New EATS

EATS-logo
Happy 2020 friends! EATS is excited for what this new year brings! You may also notice that our logo has changed. I am excited to share that EATS has evolved from Eat Awesome Things at School to Eat Awesome Things.

We have been listening to community feedback, doing organizational assessments, and, most of all-embracing the growth of EATS made possible by you, our amazing, shared community. You’ve told us that parents and adults felt left out because we didn’t have cooking classes for them. As part of our new brand, we are offering cooking classes for adults too. We have also expanded our garden program to grow and use the food we produce, and we have taken an approach to advocate for fresh food access for our community.

EATS will formally launch our refreshed brand in March with National Nutrition Month, and we hope you will join us as we create more space for meaningful relationships with food for both children and their families.

Thank you for supporting us through our inception and journey and joining us on this next adventure!

– Kindly,
Meaghan Miller Gitlin
Executive Director
