FORK in the Road 2022
Hello, Friends of EATS! We’re so excited that FORK in the Road, our annual FUNdraiser, is back in person on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Legacy Lodge from 5 – 9 pm.
What’s in it for you? Nosh on some delicious fare from Park City Mountain from the creative mind of renowned Chef Greg Hansen. And, rock out to a Park City area favorite, an Americana roots rock band, Lash LaRue. And, (we’re not done yet) you get to create a life-changing impact while you “shop” through our fabulous Silent Auction filled with experiential items from some area favorites.
Okay, okay – I just described your typical Park City area fundraiser, we are a Park City area nonprofit after all. What makes FORK in the Road truly special is the generosity of our supporters goes right back into our community through our edible education programs:
- Advocacy
- EATS sits on local and statewide task forces getting Utah to produce & products for Utah children
- Education
- In our 2021/2022 year EATS has taught 126 cooking classes, 97 garden classes, and educated during 105 lunch periods (and our year isn’t over!)
- Food Security
- We’ve provided more than 10,000 extra meals to kids facing food insecurity
- Sustainability
- We’ve helped divert more than 13,000 lbs of food waste from the landfill to composting and renewable energy.
That is why FORK in the Road is so special. FORK is when EATS, and our supporters, get to celebrate our collective wins.
