Program Manager Position

Reporting to the Board President, the Program Manager will be responsible for the operational success of EATS Park City programs, ensuring seamless team management and development, program delivery and quality control, and evaluation. The Program Manager will manage a staff of Program Coordinators. The Program Manager will play a key role as an external face of EATS Park City in the non-profit and local communities.

Responsibilities

Leadership:

  • Cultivate existing relationships with vendors and Park City Child Nutrition Services with the goal of ensuring sufficient resources and access to services.
  • Develop and implement strategies that will maximize the synergies among program areas.

Team Management and Development:

  • Develop and implement a system to evaluate the skill, experience, and professional development needs of all staff and volunteers.
  • Implement a professional development program to address employee/volunteer experience and skill gaps.
  • Work with staff and volunteers to develop objective performance measurements across all sites, to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluation and goal setting for all stakeholders.
  • Instill a sense of accountability among team members by modeling tight oversight of individual and organization performance standards.
  • Recruit, hire, and oversee training and orientation of staff/volunteer members.
  • Organize and conduct monthly EATS meetings of school champions and volunteers; keep notes and update executive team on these meetings and developments
  • Oversee the development and documentation of standardized curriculum for EATS programs
  • Oversee the development of measurements and evaluation of EATS programs and report them to executive team

Program Operational Management:

  • Establish consistent, objective program performance standards of accountability.

Qualifications

This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual to grow and further develop a proven program. The successful candidate will lead programs, partner with the Board President and work collaboratively with other nonprofits. Specific requirements include:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors preferred.
  • Experience in a team management role.
  • Demonstrated success developing and evaluating program models, and selecting and successfully operationalizing innovative programs.
  • Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool and experience working with information technology to develop and implement program evaluation systems.
  • Strong project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth.
  • Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive peer group.
  • Strength in hiring, recruiting, managing, developing, coaching, and retaining individuals and teams, empowering them to elevate their levels of responsibility, span-of-control and performance.
  • Understanding of human resources, employee performance improvement plans, and corrective action policies.
  • Demonstrated results in managing and proven experience negotiating win-win agreements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for EATS Park City’s mission.

Compensation and Hours:

This is a part-time position and hours are flexible. Pay is based on an average of 25 hours per week, 3 weeks per month. Person will work from home and meet at outside locations with EATS executive team. An annual salary of $18,000 will be paid on a bi-monthly basis.

Position is part-time, averaging 25 hours/week, 3 weeks/month. Program Manager may work from home but will also be expected to perform duties within the schools in support of EATS Park City’s programs and/or attend Board meetings when asked to do so by the Board President. Annual salary is $18,000.
