Fiesta Friday Breakfast at McPolin!
The Morning Meals Matters program sponsored by the Park City Education Foundation concluded at McPolin on Friday, Nov. 14th with a Mexican themed breakfast with Huevos Rancheros, whole wheat tortillas, black beans, fresh fruit and included homemade salsas from Mi Tierra Restaurant and Pumpkin Zucchini muffins baked by the Park City Medical Center.
Teachers and administrators came to eat with the kids and all enjoyed the eats as well as the festive atmosphere. During the program, students learned why eating a healthy breakfast is important and how to choose healthier options. School breakfast participation increased 22% during the four week period. Thank you to Jackie and Lisa, the McPolin Lunch Ladies, for their extra efforts!
